Each campaign is identified by an NHTSA Campaign Number (a string like 25V123000) and lists every make / model / year combination affected. The most common vehicle-recall categories are airbag and seatbelt failures (the consequence is non-deployment in a crash), fuel system defects with fire risk, steering or brake malfunctions, electrical defects in EVs that can cause battery thermal events, software bugs in driver-assist systems, and child-seat harness failures. Recalls for tires almost always relate to a tread-separation risk in a defined production date range.
Every NHTSA recall is mandatory for the manufacturer to remedy at no charge to the owner, with no expiration. If your vehicle has an open recall, your dealer is required to perform the remedy free of charge as long as the vehicle exists. Winnebago motorhomes are being recalled due to airbag system wiring that can be trapped in the seat mechanism when seats are adjusted. Damaged wires could prevent the airbags from deploying in a crash.
Daimler Vans USA is recalling certain 2024 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter vehicles due to a software error in the electronic stability program that may extend braking distance and increase crash risk. Dealers will provide a free software update.
Certain 2023-2024 Airstream Atlas motorhomes may lack a heat shield on the generator, exposing subflooring to excessive heat. This defect increases the risk of fire and injury.
Arctic Cat is recalling approximately 16,200 model year 2017–2021 and certain 2022 snowmobiles from the 8000 and 9000 series because the drive clutch can break and allow fragments to escape the shielding, causing laceration injuries.
Certain 2023 Jayco Swift and Entegra Ethos motorhomes have faulty driver seat belt warning systems that fail to activate, risking improper seat belt use in crashes. Dealers will replace the affected buckle assembly free of charge.
General Motors is recalling 2024 Cadillac XT5 vehicles because the driver's front airbag cushion may tear during deployment, preventing proper airbag operation. A non-deploying airbag increases the risk of injury in a crash.
Jayco and Entegra recall certain 2023-2024 motorhomes with a wiring harness that may chafe against the drive shaft, causing short circuit and risking loss of steering, braking, and drive power, plus fire.
Hyundai is recalling 2024 Kona, Elantra, and Venue vehicles because an electrical short in the EGR valve can cause loss of drive power. Dealers will replace the assembly free of charge.

Hyundai is recalling certain 2022–2023 Genesis GV70, GV80, G80, and G90 vehicles because the fuel pump may fail, resulting in loss of drive power and increased crash risk.
Tesla is recalling one 2024 Model 3 vehicle. The driver seat side air bag module was assembled without a deflector, which may cause improper deployment and increase the risk of injury during a crash.
Forest River is recalling certain 2024 Coachmen Catalina and Forest River Aurora travel trailers because the cooktop-furnace isolation panel was not properly sealed during manufacturing, which could result in an inverted cooktop flame and fire risk.
Hyundai is recalling certain 2024 IONIQ 6 vehicles because differential gear bolts in the gear drive unit may not be tightened properly, risking loss of drive power or differential lockup that could increase crash risk.
Jaguar is recalling certain 2021–2023 E-Pace vehicles because the passenger air bag may tear during deployment, reducing occupant protection and risking burn injury from hot gases.
Forest River and Dynamax are recalling multiple 2018–2024 travel trailer models due to LED backlight circuit boards in cooktop ranges that may overheat and create a fire risk. Dealers will disconnect and remove the LED backlight wiring at no charge.
