Grand Design RV Trailers Recalled for Propane Line Leak Hazard

Grand Design RV, LLC is recalling certain 2022-2023 Solitude and 2023 Momentum fifth wheel trailers. The refrigerator cooling unit in these trailers may have loose or missing fasteners.

When fasteners are loose or missing, the refrigerator cooling unit can move excessively within the trailer. This movement can cause the propane line connected to the unit to crack and leak. A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of fire.

Grand Design has notified owners by mail as of December 23, 2025. Owners should contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679 to arrange an inspection. Dealers will inspect the refrigerator and repair or replace it as necessary, free of charge. Approximately 95 trailers are affected. This recall is an expansion of a prior NHTSA recall.
