NHTSA recalls of passenger vehicles, motorcycles, tires, and child seats.
Vehicle recalls in our database all come from NHTSA. They cover passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, tires, child safety seats, and motor-vehicle equipment. Each campaign is identified by an NHTSA Campaign Number (a string like 25V123000) and lists every make / model / year combination affected. We carry the full vehicle range so you can search by your own car.
The most common vehicle-recall categories are airbag and seatbelt failures (the consequence is non-deployment in a crash), fuel system defects with fire risk, steering or brake malfunctions, electrical defects in EVs that can cause battery thermal events, software bugs in driver-assist systems, and child-seat harness failures. Recalls for tires almost always relate to a tread-separation risk in a defined production date range.
Every NHTSA recall is mandatory for the manufacturer to remedy at no charge to the owner, with no expiration. If your vehicle has an open recall, your dealer is required to perform the remedy free of charge as long as the vehicle exists. If you're not sure whether your vehicle is affected, the VIN lookup decodes your specific vehicle and cross-references the NHTSA database directly.

Mercedes-Benz is recalling certain 2022–2025 EQB 250, EQB 300 4MATIC, and EQB 350 4MATIC models due to a high-voltage battery that may fail internally and cause vehicle fire while parked or driving.
Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2021–2025 Entegra Launch and Jayco Terrain recreational vehicles. Grey water tank support brackets may contact and damage the fuel tank, causing a leak and fire risk.
KTM North America is recalling 2022–2025 Husqvarna FE 350S and FE 501S motorcycles, along with 2024–2025 GASGAS ES 350 and ES 500 models, due to front brake calipers that may crack and cause loss of front brake function.
Nikola is recalling certain 2024–2025 TRE FCEV trucks because hydrogen tank mounting block bolts may be too long and damage the tank, creating a fire risk.
Forest River is recalling certain 2024–2025 Rockport work trucks because incorrect fasteners may have been used to install the optional E-Track Cargo Tie Down system. The fasteners can fail, causing the system to detach from the wall and increase the risk of injury.
Volvo is recalling 2025 EX90 vehicles because a software error in the low power controller may cause headlight shutters to close while driving, reducing visibility and increasing crash risk.
Grand Design is recalling certain 2019–2024 Solitude fifth wheel trailers because the step tread joints may be unsupported, causing the tread to break and increasing the risk of injury.
Toyota is recalling certain 2024–2025 Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles because rear brake hoses can be damaged by mud and dirt buildup, causing brake fluid leaks that reduce braking ability and increase crash risk.
Toyota is recalling certain 2025 Lexus NX and other vehicles because the second-row center seat belt webbing may be damaged, potentially reducing occupant restraint in a crash.
Hyundai is recalling certain 2025 Ioniq 5 electric vehicles because the rear floor wiring harness may contain an open circuit, preventing the rear side air bag from deploying as intended and increasing injury risk in a crash.
Hyundai is recalling certain 2025 IONIQ 5 "N" vehicles with left-foot braking because a software defect in the electronic brake and vehicle control systems may reduce braking performance, increasing crash risk.
General Motors is recalling certain 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles with chrome front grille deflectors because attachment points may fracture, causing the grille to detach and become a road hazard.
