Plain-English summary

Volvo Trucks North America is recalling certain 2025-2027 VNL (4) and 2026-2027 VNR (4) vehicles.

The record states the vehicle turn signals may not function properly, and that as such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment".

NHTSA states the consequence is that turn signals which do not function properly may fail to indicate the driver's intention to change vehicle direction, increasing the risk of a crash. The record gives the potential number of units affected as 340.

Dealers will update the turn signal indicator software, free of charge. The record states owner notification letters were mailed May 7, 2026, that owners may contact Volvo Trucks customer service at 800-528-6586, and that Volvo Trucks' number for this recall is RVXX2604.
