The center roof marker lights may fail to illuminate, which causes the equipment to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." Marker lights that do not work can reduce visibility, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace the center roof marker light free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on October 11, 2026. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks' customer service at 800-528-6586 for more information. Volvo Trucks' internal number for this recall is RVXX2609.
