Lucid is recalling 2024-2026 Air vehicles with potentially disconnected driveshafts due to improperly secured bolts. Loss of drive power could increase crash risk.
What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: This is a structural vehicle defect affecting a critical drivetrain component. The improperly secured bolts allow the half-shaft to disconnect, resulting in loss of drive power and increased crash risk, which meets the criteria for a Severe (Score 4) rating.
Plain-English summary
Lucid USA, Inc. is recalling 2024-2026 Air vehicles equipped with Pure Rear-Wheel Drive. The bolts connecting the half-shaft to the drive unit may be improperly secured, which could allow the half-shaft to disconnect from the drive unit.
If the half-shaft disconnects, the vehicle will lose drive power. This increases the risk of a crash.
Approximately 225 vehicles are affected. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 3, 2025. Lucid will remove, inspect, and install new bolts free of charge.
Owners should contact Lucid at 1-888-995-8243 to schedule service. Lucid's recall number for this service campaign is SR-25-03-0.
