2025 Chrysler Pacifica side curtain air bags recalled for inadequate pressure retention
Chrysler is recalling certain 2025 Pacifica and Voyager vehicles due to defective side curtain air bags. The air bags may have insufficient pressure retention from improperly sealed seams, increasing the risk of ejection during a crash.

The right and left side curtain air bags may have insufficient pressure retention from improperly sealed seams, causing these vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 226, which governs ejection mitigation.
Air bags with insufficient pressure retention increase the risk of ejection and injury during a crash. The defective air bags may not provide adequate protection in collision events.
Approximately 985 vehicles are affected by this recall. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 14, 2025. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) can be searched on NHTSA.gov.
Owners should contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403 to schedule a remedy appointment. Dealers will replace the affected side curtain air bags free of charge. This recall has been superseded by NHTSA recall number 26V189; vehicles previously repaired under this recall will need to have the new remedy completed.
