Chrysler Pacifica curtain airbag seams may not retain pressure

Chrysler is recalling certain 2022-2025 Pacifica and Voyager vehicles because improperly sealed seams may leave the side curtain airbags with insufficient pressure retention.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: Risk-of-harm defect reducing occupant protection and ejection mitigation in a crash, with no death or injury reported in the NHTSA record.

Plain-English summary

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Pacifica and Voyager vehicles under NHTSA campaign number 25V302000. The potential number of units affected is 250,651.

The right and left side curtain air bags may have insufficient pressure retention from improperly sealed seams. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 226, "Ejection Mitigation." According to NHTSA, an air bag with insufficient pressure retention increases the risk of ejection and injury during a crash.

Dealers will replace the side curtain air bags as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning October 14, 2025.

Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403.
