Braun converted Chrysler minivans may be missing the seat limiter

Braun Corporation is recalling certain 2024 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager vehicles because the seat limiter may not have been installed, allowing the seat to move too far forward.

What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: Risk-of-harm defect allowing the seat to sit too close to the airbag, with no death or injury reported in the NHTSA record.

Plain-English summary

Braun Corporation is recalling certain 2024 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager vehicles under NHTSA campaign number 24V888000. The potential number of units affected is 44.

The seat limiter may not have been installed, allowing the seat to move too far forward. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." According to NHTSA, a seat positioned too close to the air bag can increase the risk of injury during a crash.

Dealers will inspect and install a seat limiter as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 17, 2024.
