The affected vehicles do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 101 (Control and Displays) and No. 111 (Rear Visibility).
Volkswagen began mailing owner notification letters on December 20, 2024. The company will repair affected vehicles free of charge by updating the vehicle software at a dealer. Owners may contact Volkswagen customer service at 1-800-893-5298 for more information. The recall is identified as Volkswagen campaign number 919A. Approximately 79,965 vehicles are affected.
