Nissan Rogue seat belt pretensioners may not restrain occupants properly

Nissan is recalling certain 2023 Rogue vehicles because incorrectly manufactured driver and front passenger seat belt pretensioners may fail to restrain occupants, breaching FMVSS 208, 209 and 210.

NHTSA states that improperly restrained occupants have an increased risk of injury during a crash.

Dealers will replace the front seat belt assemblies as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 26, 2024. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669, referencing recall number PD105, or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
