2023 Nissan Ariya recalled for potentially loose steering wheel bolts

A steering wheel with a loose or missing bolt can detach from the steering column. This could cause a loss of steering control and increase the risk of a crash.
Approximately 1,063 vehicles are affected by this recall. Nissan began notifying owners on March 2, 2023 via phone, with follow-up letters sent beginning March 30, 2023. Owners should contact their dealer for free repair; dealers will replace the steering wheel bolt.
