The affected vehicles include the 3 Series, 4 Series, 7 Series, 8 Series, X5, X6, and X7 models from model years 2019–2021. A total of 893 vehicles are potentially affected.
To remedy this issue, BMW will replace the integrated brake system at no cost. Owners were notified by mail on May 25, 2021. Owners should contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417 to schedule a replacement appointment.
