Nova Bus is recalling certain 2016-2019 LFS buses due to a defect in the electrical system software. The safety mechanism designed to automatically re-open the pneumatic rear passenger door in case of an obstruction may be inactive under certain conditions. This allows the doors to continue closing even when an obstruction is present.

The defect increases the risk of injury if the rear doors continue to close while an occupant is in the doorway. The recall affects 55 vehicles in total.
