Fifth wheel trailer ramp door may break away from its frame

Forest River is recalling certain fifth wheel travel trailers across the Work and Play, Coachmen Adrenaline, Chaparral, Riverstone, Takoda, Shasta Phoenix and Cedar Creek ranges because the ramp door may break away.

What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 4 covers structural vehicle defects: the ramp door is a load-bearing structure and the source states it may break away from its frame while a vehicle is being loaded or unloaded.
