2026 Hyundai Palisade power rear seats may fail to detect occupants

Hyundai is recalling 2026 Palisade and Palisade Hybrid vehicles with Limited or Calligraphy trim because the second and third row power seats may fail to detect a person and continue moving, risking entrapment or injury.

The seat controller and audio, visual, and navigation software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 14, 2026.
