General Motors LLC is recalling certain 2019 Cadillac CT6 vehicles due to a defect in the turn-signal switch. The issue causes the turn signals to continue flashing even after the steering wheel is rotated back to the center, meaning they do not automatically cancel as required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108.

If the turn signals do not automatically deactivate, the driver may fail to turn them off manually. An erroneously active turn signal can mislead pedestrians and other drivers, which increases the risk of a crash.
