General Motors LLC is recalling certain model year 2014 Cadillac CTS vehicles manufactured between June 10, 2013, and February 26, 2014. The recall involves approximately 19,225 vehicles.

The defect occurs if the vehicle is turned off with the wipers on and the wipers become restricted, such as by ice or snow. If the battery dies and the vehicle is jump-started, the wipers may become inoperative. An inoperative windshield wiper system can decrease driver visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
