These vehicles are equipped with Ricon-manufactured wheelchair lifts featuring an optional armored pendant cable.

The defect involves the installation of the armored pendant cable, which may not clear the wheelchair lift or may lack a protective cover, or have a misinstalled cover. This condition allows the cable to contact the power lug at the base of the wheelchair lift, potentially causing a short circuit that could result in a fire.

Ricon will conduct the recall on behalf of Coach and Equipment Mfg Corp. and will notify affected owners. Ricon will provide a supplemental cover kit and instructions free of charge.
