The recall affects vehicles equipped with Ricon S and K Series platform style wheelchair lifts. The defect involves vertical support arms that were improperly welded.

If this condition occurs during passenger operations, it may not be possible to close the lift door. This causes the vehicle interlocks to remain engaged, preventing the movement of the vehicle or the ability to load or unload passengers with disabilities from the vehicle.
