These furnaces were sold nationwide by heating and cooling contractors from April 1994 to August 1996 for approximately $1,700. Specific model numbers are listed on the identification/data plate inside the furnace's front door.

No injuries have been reported in connection with this defect. Consumers who own recalled furnaces should call their dealers to arrange the installation of a free recall upgrade kit.
