The problem is that in certain conditions, the mower's blade may not stop within three seconds after the mower is stopped. This failure to meet a 1982 federal standard results in an increased risk of injury to users or bystanders. The model number is located between the handles on the mower housing.

The Toro Company has received no reports of injuries associated with this condition.
