Plain-English summary

Graco Children's Products, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is recalling a play tray accessory sold for Graco walker model #45537. The recall addresses a small parts hazard where children may be able to remove the soft plastic "music button" from the accessory musical play tray. The resulting small part could be ingested or cause a choking hazard. All affected units were sold before September 1991.

The affected product is specifically the Graco Tot Wheels II Walker with the play tray designated by model number 45537. The music button pad on these specific walkers is black. Approximately 11,000 of these walkers are believed to be in use by consumers. No other Graco walkers, walker play trays, or walker play gyms are involved in this recall.

Graco has received fourteen reports of the button being removed, including two incidents of near choking. There have been no reports of permanent or serious injury as a result of these incidents. The retrofit kit previously offered is no longer available. Consumers should immediately check if the music buttons on their play tray are black. If they are, consumers should immediately discard or destroy the product.
