Graco Children’s Products Inc. is recalling about 2,400 units of the Jump 'n Jive™ Doorway Jumpers. The product includes an interactive musical dance mat and two detachable toys attached to the jumper straps with strips of hook and loop fabric. The model number 1755544 appears on the carton UPC label and on the underside of the jumper tray.
The recall is due to a choking hazard. The fabric strips are not permanently attached to the toys and can become detached during use. Graco has received one report of a child removing the fabric strip and placing it in their mouth, but no injuries have been reported.
The doorway jumpers were sold from April 2009 through July 2009 at Babies R Us, other children's specialty retail stores nationwide, and online from Amazon.com for about $55. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product, remove and discard the detachable toys and the attaching fabric strips, and call the manufacturer for a replacement set of toys. After removing the toys and strips, consumers can continue to use the jumper and interactive musical dance mat.
