The recalled product is a two-inch brown plastic teddy bear figure with two ribbons and snaps for attaching a pacifier. The hazard exists because the safety pin on the back of the holder, used to attach it to a child's garment, could open and cause injury.

The pacifier holders were sold nationwide during 1989 for approximately $1.99 each. The packaging is labeled "Grow Time, Holder For: Pacifier-Teether Rattle, Interchangeable Ribbon, Item #GT1026" and indicates the product was made in Taiwan. Neither the CPSC nor Baby Needs, Inc. is aware of any injuries involving this product.
