To avoid injury, consumers should boil water using only low or medium flame, ensure the pot is centered on the burner, and never allow the pot to boil dry. When using an open electric element, a trivet should be used. Consumers should also follow all manufacturer warnings printed on the pot and labels. If the handle shows signs of deformation, consumers should discontinue use and discard the pot. No other Gemco glass tea kettles or products are involved in this warning.
