What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a known fire hazard with one confirmed incident of the battery smoking and catching fire resulting in property damage. Although no injuries were reported, the combination of confirmed fire occurrence and property damage places this at Severe (score 4) rather than High, meeting the criterion for significant property-damage reports.
