IKEA ODGER Swivel Chairs Recalled Due to Leg Base Breakage and Fall Risk

IKEA is recalling about 12,000 ODGER Swivel Chairs in anthracite because the leg base can break, creating a fall hazard. Four reports of leg base breaking have been received, including two reports of consumer injuries from falls.

The recalled chairs bear a date stamp before and including 2221 (YYWW format, where the first two digits represent the year and the last two digits represent the week). The product name and date stamp can be found underneath the seat, molded into the chair's material.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chairs. Anyone with a recalled chair should return it to any IKEA store or contact IKEA for disposal instructions to receive a full refund.
