Plain-English summary

RH US LLC is recalling approximately 7,800 Wine Barrel Chandeliers sold in the United States and about 600 in Canada. The recall involves chandeliers made of oak wine barrel staves and hoops with 5, 6, 8, or 12 arms, or 6 arms for battery-operated flameless votives. These fixtures were sold in brown and polished nickel colors at RH galleries nationwide, online at rh.com, and at RH outlets between April 2009 and March 2020 for prices ranging from $80 to $3,500.

The recall is due to a hazard where the hardware parts used to hang the chandeliers can break, causing the chandelier to fall from the ceiling. RH has received 14 reports of hanging hardware components breaking, including 11 reports of the chandelier falling. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should prevent people from going into the immediate area underneath the chandelier. They should contact RH to schedule a free in-home repair or replacement depending on the chandelier hardware type. RH is notifying all known purchasers directly. Consumers can contact RH toll-free at 833-786-0028, email [email protected], or visit www.rh.com and click on “Safety Recalls”.
