The recalled blenders feature a glass jar with a glass handle and a black plastic lid, sitting on a gray power unit. The Kenwood logo is located on a silver plate on the front lower portion of the base. The rating label on the bottom of the base has Type BLM80 and a date code ranging from 14X01 to 15X22, where "X" represents any letter.

These blenders were sold at various retailers including Bloomingdales, Classic Cook, Frontgate, and online at Bloomingdales.com and frontgate.com from August 2014 through July 2015 for approximately $400. The blenders were manufactured in China and imported by De'Longhi America, Inc., of Upper Saddle River, N.J. There are no reports of incidents or injuries associated with this recall.
