The recall involves mahogany wood stools with a 15-inch round woven banana bark swivel seat that rotates 360 degrees. The stools were sold in five colors (red, mahogany, Tuscan chestnut, antique white, and black) in two sizes (counter height at 24 inches and bar height at 30 inches).
The footrest on these bar stools can break, which poses a fall hazard to the user. Pottery Barn has received 26 reports of the footrest breaking, but no injuries have been reported. The stools were sold at Pottery Barn Outlet stores nationwide, online at PotteryBarn.com, and through the Pottery Barn catalog from March 2014 through June 2014 for between $230 and $250.
