The stools are wooden with a swivel seat, slatted backrest, curved armrests, and a cream-colored cushion. The wood is medium-dark pine, and the legs feature a wooden ring near the ground. The affected models are SV-BS-760SW-AMR-C24 and SV-BS-760SW-AMR-C30, though the model number does not appear on the stool itself.

The recall is due to a fall hazard. The bolts attaching the top of the bar stool to the leg assembly can come loose, causing the seat to dislodge. Havertys Furniture Companies Inc. has received one report of loose bolts, but no injuries have been reported.

The stools were sold between October 2010 and March 2012 for between $270 and $300 depending on the model. Consumers should contact Havertys to schedule a free repair where a technician will install replacement bolts. Havertys is also contacting customers directly.
