The stools, which measure about 12 inches tall by 12 inches wide by 13 inches deep, feature hard plastic caps on the bottom of all four legs. They were sold in black, coffee bean, ivory, light sage, and red, with item number 281655 printed on a sticker on the underside.

The products were manufactured in China and sold at L.L.Bean stores nationwide, through the company's catalog, and online from December 2012 through June 2013 for about $40.
