The products were manufactured in China.

The candle holders are being recalled because they can unexpectedly break, which poses a laceration hazard to consumers. There have been eight reports of the candle holders breaking, but no injuries or property damage have been reported.

The candle holders were sold at Pier 1 Stores nationwide from February 2005 through August 2005 for about $15. Consumers should stop using these candle holders and discard the product.
