Rashti & Rashti Inc. is recalling approximately 12,700 Magic Years® Novelty Pacifier Buddy Clips. The recalled items were sold individually and as sets with matching bibs from September 1999 through June 2000 at gift and specialty stores. The pacifier clips feature small stuffed animals, including a purple cat, yellow chick, blue dog, pink bunny, green bear, and white sheep.

The recall was issued because the metal clip and the small rivet attaching the clip to the stuffed animal can break apart easily. This exposes babies to small parts, creating a choking and aspiration hazard. Rashti & Rashti received one report of a pacifier clip breaking apart, but no injuries have been reported.
