The clip can break apart during use, posing a choking hazard to young children. Sandbox Medical has received two reports that the clip broke apart, but no injuries have been reported.

The pacifier clips were sold on Sandbox Baby's website (www.gumdroppacifier.com) from February 2011 through March 2011 for about $3. Consumers should immediately stop using the pacifier clip and throw it away.
