Plain-English summary
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC is recalling certain 2021-2025 Land Rover Discovery vehicles. The recall is due to insufficient drain holes in the underside of the tailgate trim, which may prevent water from draining away from the rearview camera. This can result in damage to the camera.
A malfunctioning rearview camera may fail to display an image, which can decrease driver visibility and increase the risk of a crash.
Affected vehicles include certain 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Land Rover Discovery models. To remedy this, dealers will drill additional drain holes in the underside of the tailgate trim and inspect and replace the rearview camera if necessary. These repairs will be performed free of charge.
