An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or fuel gauge, increases the risk of a crash and does not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays."
Owners are advised to disable the high definition (HD) radio feature until the recall remedy is completed. The audio-video navigation software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or inspected and updated by a dealer at no charge. Owner notification letters began mailing February 17, 2026. Owners may contact Genesis customer service at 844-340-9741 or check their vehicle identification number (VIN) on NHTSA.gov beginning January 17, 2026.
