The missing reflectors cause the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." This defect can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, which increases the risk of a crash.

Owners will receive notification letters mailed on December 9, 2025. McNeilus will install the side reflectors free of charge. Owners may contact McNeilus Customer Service at 1-888-686-7278 for more information.
