Plain-English summary

Nova Bus (US) Inc. is recalling certain 2019-2020 LFS commercial buses. The driver's door windows on these vehicles may have been built with the prime glazing manufacturer's DOT code mark missing. As a result, these vehicles fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 205, "Glazing Materials."

The missing DOT code mark may result in the window being replaced with an incorrect type of glass in the future. This could reduce visibility for the driver and increase the risk of a crash.

Owner notification letters were mailed on January 20, 2026. Nova Bus will replace the glass panels free of charge. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova Bus' number for this recall is CR5805. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning January 30, 2026.
