Suzuki Motor USA, LLC is recalling certain 2020-2025 DL1050 and 2020, 2024 GSX-S1000S motorcycles. The recall involves 1,512 vehicles where the upper headlight beam may be too bright and exceed the maximum light output. This defect causes the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Excessively bright headlights can reduce visibility for oncoming drivers, which increases the risk of a crash. Suzuki dealers will replace the headlight assembly free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 7, 2025.
