Ford hybrids can shift into neutral unexpectedly losing drive power
Ford is recalling certain 2022-2024 Maverick, 2022 Escape and 2021-2022 Lincoln Corsair vehicles previously repaired under 24V-330, because hybrid powertrain software may shift the vehicle into neutral unexpectedly.

Dealers will update the HPCM software free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 11, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332, referencing recall number 25S16, or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
