Blue Bird Body Company is recalling one 2025 All American transit bus due to a defect in the exterior lighting system. The recall addresses incorrect wiring that causes the high and low beam functions to be reversed, resulting in the high beam indicator illuminating incorrectly. This condition causes the vehicle to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

The defect poses a safety risk because the operator may inadvertently activate the high beams, which can affect the vision of other drivers and increase the risk of a crash. The remedy for this issue is currently under development.
