Freightliner Custom Chassis Trucks Recalled for Fuel Hose Separation Risk

This separation can result in a fuel leak and a lack of fuel supply to the engine. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. Additionally, a lack of fuel can cause an engine stall, which increases the risk of a crash.
Owners of affected vehicles should contact DTNA customer service at 800-745-8000 to schedule a repair. Cummins will replace the fuel filter hoses free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 8, 2024. Owners may also contact the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
