2024 Ford Mustang Clutch Pressure Line May Contact Hot Exhaust

Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2024 Mustang vehicles. The clutch pressure line may be improperly secured and contact hot exhaust components. If the pressure line melts, it can leak brake fluid and cause loss of drive power, increasing crash risk. A brake fluid leak can also cause fire if an ignition source is present.
Approximately 8,161 vehicles are affected by this recall. Dealers will inspect and repair the clutch pressure line at no charge to owners. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 14, 2024.
