Autocar, LLC is recalling certain 2020-2024 DC (Legend) vehicles. The recall addresses a defect where the hazard warning lights may not function independently of the ignition switch. This issue causes the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

The defect poses a safety risk because warning lights that do not illuminate when the ignition switch is in the OFF position can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers. This reduced visibility increases the risk of a crash.
