2023–2024 Horton Ford Emergency Vehicles Brake Line Recall
Halcore Group, Inc. is recalling certain 2023–2024 Horton emergency vehicles built on Ford F-450, F-550, and F-600 chassis because the left rear brake line can contact and be damaged by the strut mount when the rear suspension is lowered, risking brake fluid leakage and loss of brakes.
What this means for you

Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a structural brake system defect on emergency vehicles where a damaged brake line can cause loss of brakes and increase crash risk. This meets the Severe criterion for structural vehicle defects with significant risk of harm, even though no injuries or deaths have been reported.
