Horton Ambulances Recalled for Electrical Short Circuit Risk

Halcore Group, Inc. is recalling certain 2016-2019 Horton Emergency Vehicles Type I and Type III ambulances. The recall involves the A/C input power cord for the Sensata inverter, which may be undersized for certain inverter applications. This defect can possibly result in an electrical short circuit.
An electrical short circuit increases the risk of a fire or a shock hazard. Halcore has notified owners and instructed them to contact Sensata for a replacement power cord, free of charge. The recall began on March 10, 2020.
