2024 Holiday Rambler Invicta Motorhome Griddle Fire Hazard Recall
REV Recreation Group is recalling certain 2024 Holiday Rambler Invicta motorhomes. The exterior griddle may be stowed while still connected to the LP gas line, creating a fire risk.
What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: This is a risk-of-harm vehicle equipment defect involving a fire hazard from an LP gas griddle that can remain connected while stowed. No illnesses or injuries have been reported, and the hazard remains theoretical. Per the rubric, theoretical hazards without reported harm score at most 3 (High).
Plain-English summary
REV Recreation Group is recalling certain 2024 Holiday Rambler Invicta motorhomes and certain 2023-2024 Fleetwood Fortis motorhomes. The issue involves the exterior griddle on these motorhomes.
The exterior griddle may remain connected to the LP gas line even when the unit is stowed for storage. If the gas line is still in use while the griddle is stowed, this can increase the risk of a fire.
Affected owners should contact their REV dealer to have the repair performed. REV dealers will install a 90-degree fitting and quick disconnect on the griddle, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 31, 2023. For more information, owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-509-3417, or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
