What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: This is a structural vehicle defect affecting suspension components with risk of crash and road hazard. The source text does not report any injuries or crashes, making it a risk-of-harm product where harm has not yet been reported, which per the rubric qualifies as High (score 3).

Plain-English summary

Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2021–2022 Jayco Atlante, Precept, Precept Prestige, and Entegra Emblem, Vision, and Vision XL motorhomes. The rear stabilizer bar attachment brackets may break and separate from the vehicle.

Brackets that separate from the vehicle can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
